About

UWC Endowment Management (UWCEM) is the investment company that manages the UWC Endowment Fund.

Governance

A strong system of oversight ensures the prudent management of the UWC Endowment Fund.

UWCEM is authorised and regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. It is overseen by a Board of Directors and advised by an Advisory Investment Committee.

UWCEM’s Board of Directors oversees the management of the Fund. It comprises the CIO, a representative of UWC International and two experienced finance and investment professionals, all of whom are FCA approved. The management team is additionally supported by an Advisory Investment Committee, which comprises UWC alumni with deep finance and investment expertise, as well as members of highly-regarded external endowments.

The UWC Endowment Fund has a separate Board that comprises the CIO, a representative of UWC International and two independent Irish directors. The Fund Board oversees the management of risk and ensures that the Fund adheres to its investment restrictions. The Fund is audited by PwC.
